Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron and the No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet Camaro will pay tribute to basketball legend Kobe Bryant with a special purple-and-gold paint scheme in the March 1 event at Auto Club Speedway.
Bryant, who famously wore the No. 24 for much of his basketball career, tragically passed away in January. Byron’s No. 24 race car features Bryant’s team colors and will sport logos of After School All-Stars, an organization of which Bryant was an ambassador for.
